Who we are
The service support adults who are experiencing mental health problems, who also need help with finding or staying in employment. The kind of support we offer is dependent on individual need. Once we have spoken to the person seeking support we adapt the support offered to meet their needs.
Support varies from one phone conversation, to more in-depth one-to-one support. Our role is to help build confidence and self-sufficiency; where people feel able to deal with employment with little or no support. We also make people aware of their rights and what they can expect when applying for employment or dealing with their existing job.
The service works with employers to raise their awareness of mental wellbeing in the workplace and what they can do to support their employees, too.
Our support staff have experience and knowledge of working in this area with people who need support due to mental health problems.
"The service you offer me is unbelievable. I am so grateful for your support around this. It truly is a five star service."
